Where to hang a deer in the city?

We received a rifle from my Grandpa when he ped recently. My husband decided that he wanted to go hunting and maybe we could get some deer meat. He is hunting with my cousin's husband out by Republic, which is out in the middle of nowhere. Hunting there is common. We live in Tacoma however, which is a city and where you don't see people lugging around deer carces. I just heard that you are supposed to hang a deer for two weeks after killing it before you can butcher it. Where is it legal to do that in the city, and does anyone know a good butcher in Tacoma that might cut it up for us for a reasonable fee? Any advice? He should be coming home in a few days and I don't know what we are going to do with a dead deer if he managed to get one.
