Whats the name of this movie?!?

When I was younger, my sister and I used to always watch this cartoon movie about seals. Some of the parts of the movie I remember are: the main character seal hiding in the snow when the poachers were taking his mom away, m seal killings, and it was probably made in the 1990s. It's not Seabert, because that was a cartoon show. If anyone knows what movie i'm talking about, please help me out!
