What course of action should i take?

I was recently stopped in Hull by the police, because i failed to indicate going round a corner, when i spoke to the officers i apologised but they seemed to take great pleasure in belittling me i was alone on my journey so i have no witness i was told that i could go my way when they decided and that because there was two of them any complaint made by my self would be dimissed why are the police like this. is it any wonder the public have lost all respect for our police
