I slammed the door on my finger..? 10 points?

ok so after i used the bathroom, i wasnt looking then closed the door on my finger. it hurt for about a minute then i tried to crack it and it stung and hurt alot. will it be like this for a long time? my stepmom put vicks on it and then i feel better but when i try to crack it it still hurts. i have a bad habbit on cracking it,, so help!
